This was intriguing, the smell that is. It seemed to be that of a pack. Now THIS could be the fun she had been looking for all day. A smirk crawled across her lips as she stalked forwards, her tail hanging loosely behind her. Her head was low, so as not to assume a dominant position, for that would be rude, her hackles placed lightly along her spine. Bain walked a few paces into the foliage that surrounded her, they seemed to grab at her pelt, calling her back, trying to warn her of the impending danger of stalking into a pack's territory uninvited. But, being as how Bain was, she paid little heed to their warnings.
Her massive head swung lazily from side to side, it would seem that she was ill prepared for an attack, but, on close observation, one would notice the slight twinge in her muscles, which were primed to counter an attack. Her long claws left small indent in the soil as she walked along, and, the movement in her tail seemed to pick up a slight jerking harshness. As her head bobbed, she stopped in the most violent of the stench, this clearly marked the very edge of the territory. She stopped just a pace or two outside the range that would be considered trespassing. A snickering cackle escaped her as she threw back her head and allowed a vicious roar of a howl bubble up over her lips and travel across the land to all who would be listening.
Her cool composure was beginning to crack and that was never a good thing. She waited for an answer of any kind, primed and ready to "prove herself" should the need arise. Bain shook her head back and allowed a cackle to escape her. Yes, no matter who decided to stop her and her little performance, it was bound to be a fun encounter.
