Word Count :: 396 Just a short walk from the mines, she's too lazy to get any closer. Nocturnal thing that she is xD

The morning sun was uncomfortable to be under, almost foreign to the cave dwelling woman, so long had it been that she traipsed above ground in under it's glaring light. But it was an inevitable thing, although one she did often put of for as long as possible; she had to be a responsible owner of Jason and allow the pheasant to enjoy the day every now and then, as well as collect the harder to locate ingredients of which she used the pheasant to find. Making a quick pit stop to the storage rooms, she gathered up a bag and a few strips of dried meat, stuffing her quickly written list of things she needed to gather into the leather sack as well, before hitching it over her shoulder and making her way out of her home lands into neutral grounds, Jason happily trailing behind her silently, seeming to relish in the warmer temperature and exhilarated by the simple fact that he got to stretch his legs and wings under the warmth of the vibrant sun.

Keeping her head down and moving with purpose, the Ninurta ignored any indication of lingering strangers and pushed the scents carried by the wind out of her mind after she briefly checked them, always cautious of her own safety before dismissing something. Quickly she and the pheasant settled into companionable silence, moving briskly upon well travelled trails heading to the area she had last found the strange plant that made her ink experiments smell more... bearable. Despite having used it once or twice before she did not know it's name or really understand it's uses or properties aside from that it neutralised some of the revolting odours her last few batches of ink had been known to generate.

Time passed at it was just over midday when the pair arrived at their destination, the golden woman ran ocean filled eyes over the foliage before instructing Jason to begin searching; one of the few beneficial things the bird was capable of. Rolling her shoulders she smiled after the bird, watching it disappear into thicker foliage before seeking out a shadowed spot upon the rocky terrain. Memory told her she was close to the mines, but the sun wore down at her energy and motivation and she couldn't bring herself to leave the cool shadow nor Jason who was diligently working.
