Jiva was unhappy. He had taken to the wrong woman, well it seemed he was, and when he had gone to her to see if she would possibly be the one, she came, carrying the dead on her belt. A dead wolf. Even though it had been a wolf she had killed in self defense Jiva thought it was unkind to show off the dead. He was taught to respect those who had died, no matter how evil they were they were to be taken care of in the proper way either a burial or burned. Either way her ways were not his and he had spoke up about it. Those were the wrong things to say, not to mention that he told her he liked Palaydrin too, but they just met. He hadn’t known Emma much longer than Drin and he had come to respect his pack mate even though he had first and foremost been attracted to her heat scent. He was able to keep himself under control, especially as a new eligible, mate-able man.
He found himself on this day wandering through the woods, all four feet were enjoying the cool of the shade on this rather warm spring day. Tobias was off doing his own thing and Jiva was thankful for that. He could at least sulk in peace. He found a mossy, very shady tree and felt it would be perfect for him to take a rest. Laying down, he put his head between his front paws and just watched the day pass by him. He should have been hunting or guarding the borders but he just didn’t feel up to it at all. It had been days since she had slapped him and now he was feeling the brunt of his lost affection. She was beautiful, had been kind, and yet their cultures was what kept them apart. He grunted in agitation as he saw the sun getting closer and closer to the horizon.
