Kit had decided to stay fairly close to the pack, his usual desire to avoid staying in one place for long silenced by his growing feelings for Terra. He had thought about her since the day they had met, and he had learned just what females could offer, but where originally he had only thought of her occasionally, he had started to have trouble getting the fellow hybrid out of his mind. So much so that he had started to actively look for her, rather then hoping to catch her leaving her pack. If a few more days had gone by, he might have risked howling at the border to get someone's attention, but a familiar scent had drifted on the air to the male, and though it was more enticing for some reason, it was Terra.
With a grin on Kit's face, the male had started to home in on the scent, his green eyes filled with the want to see Terra, and be close to her. It was enough to make him not even notice the scent of another male, even as he weaved through the trees, Terra's scent becoming stronger as he approached. Kit had expected to stumble upon just Terra, and so it came as a surprise when he finally caught sight of who he was looking for. Terra was there, but with another male, and Kit wasn't sure why that made him so nervous. A moment or two of just watching, and he was able to identify the strange jealousy. There was the hope in the back of his head that it was just another "brother", rather then competition, and announced himself while cautiously approaching on two legs "Hey there Terra... and one of your friends?".
Kit had tried to not let his concern creep into the words, but still probably sounded a little on edge. Where a confident grin had been, only an uncertain look remained.
