Things couldn’t be more perfect, and Titania elated when yet another pack member came to join the choir. She dropped her head, ending her song for a moment as she looked at Fayne, and though her own scent was overpowering enough she could still sense the woman’s similar state. In the weeks past Titania had been supremely jealous and spiteful towards the females in the pack whenever they were fertile, but that was not the case now. Her leadership and her pride had been threatened every time they could offer the chance at pups when she could not. That was not the case anymore, and though Titania did not fully realize what was happening to her, her soul knew this fact, so no ire was sent towards the Delta.
Zalen had joined the song, his howl ringing out more powerful than all the others. To anyone nearby, or even miles out, they would know who ruled this land, and who protected all the wolves of New Dawn. She turned adoring eyes to Zalen.
“My warrior, you sing beautifully. The moon smiles on us all,” she said as she cast her eyes to the Cheshire-grin of the moon. When she looked back at him her eyes were velvet and smooth, half lidded and highlighted by starlight. She kissed his muzzle a few times before standing and trotting a few feet away. Looking over her shoulder, tail curled in the air, she said to him, “Run with me.” And then disappeared into the trees, leaving the rest of New Dawn to sing to the moon in her stead.
