[/html]Tayui was pleasantly surprised when Anu returned her smile with one of her own. It seemed as though they were both in a good mood and she was glad. Anu had gone through a lot and she knew she wanted to make her happy. She owed it to her and she felt like the other woman deserved it. So, when Anu responded with her own cheeky retort, Tayui couldn’t help but laugh.[/html]
Between her chuckles, she managed to reply: “naturally.” With this, she pulled Anu’s hand closer to herself so that she could hold it with both hands. With her second hand, she rested it gently on the back of Anu’s hand, letting her fingers rest between the knuckles. She felt a bit silly doing and saying things like this in such a roundabout way. Neither of them were young anymore and they didn’t need to pretend if they wanted to say something. Tayui knew that she was comfortable being completely honest with Anu and she could only help that the other woman felt the same for her. She tried to catch Anu’s eye as she looked into the trees, hoping to perhaps express some thoughts she’d been mulling over for many days.[html]
