Adara had been following behind her master for days now. She knew he was planning on selling her since he got a new favorite. She just wasn’t important anymore, expendable. He could probably get quite a bit for her too. A few had asked to purchase her but her master turned them down, assuming that they only wanted her for themselves. He wanted someone that would punish he if she got out of line and use her the way he had used her since she was born.
They stopped and he brought out the six other slaves he intended to sell. They were all chained to the wagon except for Adara, who he kept a collar on. She could wander around a bit but knew she would be punished if she went too far. A few others came every once in a while and bought four of the other slaves, leaving only two others and Adara. Perhaps she woudn’t be sold.
