After evaluating the stranger and seeing no direct threat, Alexey finally rewarded herself by sitting down. Her front leg was still fragile from the arrow wound, and all that walking around probably wasn't the best way to fix her little handicap. Bloodstains were all over her pelt, and for a moment, she wondered if the blood was somebody else's. She only remembered bits and pieces of the brawl. How she had gotten away from them alive was a mystery. Kol or Haku had carried her home, perhaps? Or maybe she had taken care of herself. The Filix would have to ask her pack mates about it, and give proper thanks to the hero in question.

The male showed no signs of hostility, which was a good thing. It was clear that Lexey would not have been able to fight him off had it come to that, and she did not want to fail again. He was an odd fellow, but she believed him nonetheless. It was common sense, really. Why would he inquire about the war if he was involved? And yet, that thought brought on another question... "What's it to you?" she retorted, raising a brow at the same time. If he provided her with the right answers, then he too, would get what he wanted.
