Both victims were cherished princesses within their respective parties, and both Dahlia de mai and Inferni were willing to die for them. A better question would have been: Do you think it's ever going to end? No. Probably not. Alexey couldn't give this man a straight answer. She feared the only way it would ever end was if one of the two packs was exterminated.
Personally, the Dahlian girl wanted this whole thing to go away. She disliked coyotes in general, perhaps even more now that they had Firefly, but this whole thing was getting way out of hand. Sighing deeply, she slowly shook her head. "Coyotes and wolves have been rivals since the beginning of time. This just won't end." It was a little sad, really. Times of peace came and went, but the animosity was ever present. Would there ever be a time when all could be safe from this madness?
