The pups were doing quite well and their eyes had even started to open. It was still too early for their eyes to be anything but a milky white but she was still pleased by the fact that their eyes were open. They were still mostly nursing but she had been working on getting them to start eating regurgitated meat. Not a lot yet but she did want them to know what it was.
She looked up at the sound of the howl and saw that Liam was getting ready to go. She needed to get out of the den and so made a sling for the pups out of a piece of cloth and wrapped it around her and slide D'ryn and Bridget in it. She then followed after him at a slower pace since this was the first time she had made this and wanted to make sure it held them securely.
The two wolves before her she knew. Noah, she vaguely remembered from over a year ago when Dawali and Jefferson had canines from AniWaya and Phoenix Valley repair things after the snowstorm. She and Noah repaired a fence. Deuce had recently come to see them and she watched as Liam grimaced as his grandmother gave him a hug, which she gave him a smirk for. "Hello Noah, Deuce." The pups both squealed at something but they weren't hungry so she stroked them and they settled down, slightly.
