She turned in a circle and scanned her den for any mess, but the stray feathers had long since been swept out, and the only miscellaneous junk that remained was not junk at all. She sat down and pricked her ears toward the pelt flap entrance again, starting to sit down on the bone before remembering it and scooting it behind her with a hind paw.
Ignoring the clatter of the femur against the cavern wall, the vanilla-tawny coywolf adopted an easy smile. Although Stark and Helotes and others could tease her for acting like a moonstruck fawn, she did like whatever dynamic she had with the auburn-haired scholar. She just liked Myrika, and was glad for her company no matter what the reason, business or pleasure -- even if she was curious for the reason this time.
