A neat, visually attractive line of splendid summer flowers had started to crawl around the area that belonged to the oddly happy couple. One should have expected the merry changes to annoy the blonde Lykoi male, but he viewed every change China brought as fresh and intoxicating. Perhaps he adored her ability to appreciate the world around her no matter how cruelly it had treated her in the past. But his beloved cousin would never again have to worry about monsters and materialized nightmares. She had acquired a most devoted guardian.
It was midday, and the blonde hybrid had just arrived at their renovated home, where they were working on the outdoor space that was to house a miniature spice garden, a workplace for pelts and other work, and of course the crow cages. Itachi’s ridiculously heavy and bulky backpack was carefully lowered down to the flat ground along with a heavy sigh.
He should be using his mare for transporting all the stone, but he didn’t enjoy the thought of using the horse when it had been picked out for breeding. Itachi wasn’t one to shy away from heavy labour, and found this to be an enjoyable way to spend days where his schedule wasn’t crowded. Pandemic wasn’t really a stone cutter, but he had assisted the red eyed Lykoi with cutting out large, flat shards of pastel blue and sea green limestone. It was his intention to lay a stone path from the cabin’s entrance to the border of the area that was marked as his. The male also entertained the thought of a stone floor for his outside workshop.
