I think Tammi will post first? :3

She bristled, her furs on end. Skye, the Cercatori leader, said this Liam person had terrorized them previously. Was Gemma targeted or was she simply accidentally in the wrong place? It sure didn't seem accidental to Ulilohi: first, the northern pack sought her in AniWaya and threatened her, though verbally. Second, this Anathema member comes trailing after Gemma as she visits family in another pack, far from home and alone, and with her children in tow, and leaves her for dead only after raping her? It was not incidental, that much was certain to her. Still, the warrior councilwoman was uncertain how she should handle it. This pack, she had heard nothing amiable or even reasonable about them. Less than reasonable, said some, without reason entirely said others. Granted, all her sources came from a pack whose leadership already felt slighted by Anathema, but that didn't change the fact that Ulilohi was disheartened and worried for this exchange. She had asked around, but all she could deduce as true information about them was their location. So, she went fuming from the pack of arts, only to fetch Claudius and head north.

There was no knowing what awaited them here, now. Their howls still lingered in the air, as if a solid thing, half riding on the wind and returning to her with every gust, half disappearing into nothingness. She paced, her large body tense and muscles flexing as if expecting to be suddenly put to use. Honestly, she did not know even what to anticipate: a fight? She expected justice, and justice she would have, but would they even care? Gemma had a price on her head as far as this pack was concerned; for all the brown female knew, they could have asked Liam to attack her. The councilwoman had had the audacity to enter their territories, if only barely. It was more of standing on their border than it was actually entering their land, but she was tempted to just stroll inside if no one attended her, and quickly. This pack had threatened the very essence of their tribe, and she was not leaving here until justice was served. Adrenaline and anger was fueling this unyielding female; she could only hope that if she was unable to keep a cool head, Claudius would step out and take over.

The weight of her spear was burning into her back, calling for her to pull it out and keep it ready, but she was not so undiplomatic that she did not understand how unwise it would be. Still, she bobbed from hind paw to hind paw, glancing to Claudius and tensing her back without even realizing. This was not the joyful visit she enjoyed making to other packs.
