He had come home to find Palaydrian missing. After asking around he learned she and two others went to Casa and he didn’t even know it. Never passed them and didn’t see them in the pack. It worried him now that he was home and she wasn’t. Jiva decided to head out a little to see if he could search for his mate, to tell him how sorry he was. He was still ridden with guilt and anger. Guilt for leading Drin on, and anger that he could have continued the act without a conscious thought.
He found himself in the middle of Drifters bay, many miles aroudn him reached and laughed and he grumbled. This was no way to find the woman he loved and he put his nose to the ground sniffing at it to see if he can catch a scent new or old. When he found nothing he grew frustrated, but instead of turning back he just sat on his haunches and stared eastward where he could perhaps see her silhouette in the horizon, heading home right now. He knew this was only a lovers dream and was still disappointed when he didn’t see her....
