She couldn’t tell if the night before was beautiful or scary. He was not the first one to take her and sweep her off her feet in a way, but did he really or did she push herself onto him? It was so hard to think her mind was befuddled thinking of puppies. Why would she think of puppies? She didn’t want to spawn demons as Conor had spawned her, as Haku had spawned him. She knew she was going to be a bad wolf it would come out, the darkness in her dreams, though being kept at bay, were coming closer to her now. It scared her in ways she didn’t know it could. She was walking the horses at a quick pace seeing the land around her and knowing she was close to home. The pack they were allied to lay to her right while Halifax and its dead spired buildings lay to her left
The colt feeling the effects of the journey stopped a few times before she decided to take a short break knowing that she’ll probalby make it to Cercatori the next morning, she’d have to camp in the forest that night as the Sun was high overhead already.
“A quick rest you two and then we are off again.”
She said to the two horses. She felt on edge now and wondered what the others would think of her long absense and hoped that she wasn’t too late for the return of the voyagers who took the ship out. She missed the launching but she would be damned if she missed their home coming. She missed her new friends, and was so happy that Vasilly found that he was able to join in on something he loved. She would be tired when she got back but if they were still out she would do everything she could to get a feast for the pack started up. Perhaps even find someone who knew how to play music. surely there was someone. Her htoughts wandered as she let the horses graze, she having taken their gear off for a short while, and was leaning on the near empty packs thinking of the whole trip. It was short but her own wandering tendencies had disappeared, she never passed the penninsula that was the area of ‘souls. It made herself feel proud and happy she was not going to leave. The woman was content with her life at the moment.
