Thana’s anger didn’t diminish whatsoever during the time her and Anna spent with the young pup named Alastar. She was still infuriated with the whole situation that X’yrin had caused. If she had just kept her big ass away from Jaden then he would be hers right now. Instead, Thana had to leave since she couldn’t sit by and watch the two of them together. She had already lost her first love to another and now it happened all over again. That vile woman would learn just how big of a mistake she had made. No one crosses a trained assassin and leaves unscathed. She would learn that her place was beneath Thana.
It was easy to train Anna as they traveled, having the pup work on her marksmanship as they rode atop of Abbadon. The young girl was quickly mastering the bow she had been given and seemed to improve every time she loosed an arrow. In her blind rage, Thana never even noticed they had crossed onto Inferni territory. The two girls decided to stop for a moment to hunt, while still on Inferni grounds, and find something to eat. Sitting back, the dark woman allowed Anna to try hunting on her own. A smile crossed her face when the pup returned with two fat rabbits. They ate quickly, scarfing down every last bit of meat. Thana gnawed on one of the bones as the two of them began to pack up their things, hearing a crunch as the bone snapped in Thana’s jaws.
