Bathing in the lake and early morning reflections were the best prelude to a new day. Lilin had washed away sleep and impurities from her mind and body- she was ready for her daily responsibilities and whatever challenges would come her way. Now she understood why her co-leader had a similar routine- it was strangely refreshing and already, the Virding felt complaisant enough. She still had some time to kill before her rendez-vous with the pack's Godja; her presence wasn't required anywhere at the moment and it showed in her poise: a soft smile adorned her face as opposed to the usual frown tugging at her features.
She had conveniently been a short ways from the source of the call. It gave her the opportunity to take her time and maintain an easygoing pace, all the while mulling over what business this potential stranger had with Vinatta. A trader, perhaps. They had greeted plenty of those lately. Lilin had picked up on the distinct feminine tones behind the unexpected beckoning- this female wasn't known to her. Her scent had never before been encountered on her travels and it certainly had never ventured this close to the pack lands.
''And who might you be?'' she called out upon arrival, halting several feet away from the wanderer. There she stood complacently, doing what she normally did best; she observed and patiently awaited an answer to her question. Her tone had been pleasant enough, inquisitive and lighthearted- this female did not seem like a threat and she wouldn't be treated as such, not yet at least.
