Soft paws tread lightly on the hard, packed dirt of the forest floor. Painfully careful to make not the slightest sound, heeding where the wind was carried as to not alert with even the smallest scent, hidden in the shadows so his dark pelt could conceal his feline form. He crept forward, muscles rolling smoothly together, until he was a sufficient distance from his target; bunching up his haunches and drawing out his claws, he prepared to pounce.
