The two had been on the road awhile now and whilst X'ies was relatively happy that he and Jaden had come to an understanding ( this would help his progression). He was still tired of it all, he wanted to return to the home of the pack, not enjoying the idea of leaving his child hood friend with relatively little company or indeed defense. Not that the Grey wolf would provide much help in that matter, but the black furred male might just. He had been given the jist of things before arriving in these lands, this was the pack that he had predicted it would seem, the ones that Jaden had what he might call. Less than favorable relations with. X'ies was both excited and interested to see just how this one would play out, knowing Jaden well enough at this stage he guessed that this might end up turning violent. However it seemed that this was the last thing the male wanted, turning control over to X'ies if things got too hairy.
However it seemed that after the call had been let out on the borders. Things were going to start off in that manner. Now Jaden knew well of X'yrin's hatred of dogs by now, and whilst X'ies had no love for them he had no hatred either. What he did have however was a full bound elitist belief that bordered upon racism.
The arrival of the female was noted by X'ies who would say nothing as she approached and spoke in words that would indicate familiarity with Jaden. Familiarity that much like the wolf explanation, heralded bad tidings for things to come. But of course, Jaden was not the only person here as a diplomat and X'ies was already amused by the down tone of this Coy wolf, hardly what one would expect as a greeting of diplomacy, but of course. perhaps in her mind that's not what it was. For the moment however X'ies would leave the talking to his leader. Simply watching on with lazy eyes that hid his true intentions.
