Teme Lupus is by Alaine!

Walking along in a bubble of his own mind was something Temeraire never succumbed to, very unlike his father. Knowing Saul how Tem did, he knew that his father often became oblivious to the world around him, internalising completely until he was startled from his thoughts unexpectedly. The boy had always thought this a little reckless- it wouldn't do anyone any good to shut off and not have a clue what was going on around oneself. Instead, his blue eyes were clear and eager, taking everything in that was of even remotely interesting to him. He couldn't help exploring everything either, black nose twitching constantly to take in all the smells he possibly could. He hoped that his absence wouldn't be noticed, but reasoned he was only a half hour away from home if anything was noticed, he'd be within hearing distance of a summoning howl at least.

With his tail swishing behind him, Temeraire moved with little purpose through the broken pavements and streets. He touched a lot though, black hands running over the buildings, coming away covered in dust and dirt. It was all a new experience for him and he could contain the carefree chuckle no longer. He paused for a moment as a foul smell caught his nose and he cringed slightly, not realising the smell had come from behind him. Darting down a little alleyway, Temeraire found a broken door, the inside of a large building tantalising enough to make him stray from his path. Ducking inside, the boy stared at the huge open space and the abundance of things he knew nothing about, not even a guess as to what they might be. He supposed this was a human warehouse however and began digging through what was in front of him, not really understanding what any of it was.
