DELAYED AND CRAP UUGH
Silvano squeezed her hand tightly as he knelt by her on the bed, his knees digging into the hardwood floor painfully, but he ignored it as he watched the emotions flutter across Giselle's face. Her pain was evident and he could not help but whine along with her as she moaned or cried in pain. It was his fault, wasn't it? If he hadn't.. then maybe this could have been avoided but it was something the two of them had wanted. Denying that was like denying their love for each other.
There was a look of pleading in his eyes as he turned to face the woman in their doorway. He gripped Giselle's hand and never stepped away from her side, even though canine instinct screamed at him to let the mother be in case he upset her into hurting their children. Giselle was not going to do such a thing, he thought over and over again as he gently rose, keeping his hand linked into his mate's as she clenched and unclenched it with the pain of labor coursing through her body. "Please," he said simply, gesturing to his mate. He stepped back, letting her have all the room she would need while still keeping a hold on Giselle's hand. It was one of those things he had never expected to do when he was a young boy, and now that it was happening it seemed surreal.
