Terra's attention only briefly lifted from the goat as Shadow shifted. She growled at him, warning him to stay back from the den, and then turned back to feeding. No matter how close they were, the pups were young and she didn't trust anyone with them. If Shadow attempted to enter the den he would end with a mouthful of fangs around his snout. Good luck getting past her. The goat blocked up a fair bit of the entrance, but she was still watching.
Tail wagging she nodded her head, silently laughing to herself at the idea. All the goats would be terrified of her. If she was a good hunter. Mainly she caught small things, not much to eat. It worked for her though. At least, it had. Blood completely coated her muzzle by the time she was done eating. Pushing at the goat she moved the body away, and settled down to the grounds. Smiling she grinned at Shadow. Glad you came. It was good to have her family with her.
