It was a shame the pristine stallion was not fit for a rider his size. Salmon tongue licked black lips before he uttered a soundless sight, flattening equally black ears at the wagon’s wooden moan as it climbed over rock and uneven ground. If patience couldn’t be acquired, it would have to be faked. He could do that. Eris would be here when he returned, this time for good.
