Dang, no chickens here. you would think the first place they would go is the garden, they do here at home.
On the subject of greenhouses, it needs to be located for maximum exposure to the sun the entire day seeing as their function is to collect solar radiation and convert it to heat radiation and then concentrate the heat.
Although greenhouses can be and are used in the summer, they really shine (pun intended) in the winter where one can continue growing food crops, herbs, and other plants even during the snows when most plants hibernate.
Without compass points on the map, one cannot figure sun angle and direction and how the trees will cast shadows and other brain sizzling trigonometry maths.
