[html]hi :3 private for Cassia. Claimed by Jess! winkwink Wink

They had traveled for many days. The loners had wished to take their time moving up through the northern territories, especially the russet furred male. He had never traveled so far from the central lands of the region, and the pack smells were just as frequent as they were around the old lands of his disbanded home. Yet the difference was great; Oak was not familiar with their hospitality. The neutral passages between them were tight, and the landscape far more vertical and mountainous. Further north they were met with deep river had cut though the lands, and they had needed to search for a shallow passage, for they could not find an ending point that did not exist among the lands of a wolf pack.

The journey was a serious one, and yet Oak found a great pleasure in spending the time with Cassia. She was easy to converse with, and easy to walk along beside in silence. It was obvious that she was a seasoned traveler, learning the lands and studying them as they moved along. Oak took his own mental notes, knowing that he would have to return to Berwick and perhaps alone.

Once beyond the river it had not taken them long to find the proper pack borders that they had been searching for. Camping outside them till dawn, Oak and Cassia rose in the early morning light and made their way towards the border, stopping when his instincts told him to. With his axe strapped to his waist the male did not wish to intrude but show deep respect for the Vinátta pack. Blue eyes looked to the face of the earthen tones woman, a small smile touching his lips before raising his ink hued nose to the sky. His voice followed, reaching out for the morning clouds and singing out in the bellows of his wolfish voice.
