She truly hadn't been expecting Jazper to come for her pregnancy. Having been alone from a mate for so long, she didn't expect the support, attention, or care that the dark Sole male had offered to her. It was a nice feeling - a warm feeling. She knew that Jazper was not her lover and likely never would be, but she could not have thought of any other analogy for the tall man that was asleep next to her under the sheets.
The pups inside her had been quiet and, to be frank, small. Although she was very clearly pregnant at this point, she wasn't nearly as large as Jace or Hotaru had been when they had had their pups. It only hindered her a little, but she did not waddle around - although she had been riding Jack gently more often, if only to ease her occasional stomach pains.
It was for this reason that she was caught off guard when her stomach contracted and squeezed, causing her great pain. She hadn't experienced the familiar sensations of pregnancy pains in this measure since her last pregnancy, with Robert, Erzulie, and Nathaniel.
It happened again, causing her to give out a small yelp in surprise. She was not confused anymore - she knew what was going on, from her past experiences.
"Jazper!" she whispered frantically, shaking the dark male. "Jazper, the pups are coming."
