Nier recalled that Saul had mentioned something about fitting the doors on the hall and moving in furniture today, and he knew that Saul would want him there. Nier had been part of the building project from the get go, and would be there when the hall was finished. He gazed across his bedroom, looking at the set of chairs he had cobbled together, his effort for the hall. The simple carpentry job was all he could manage in his spare time, what with all of his responsibilities and relationships. He hadn't seen much of Bran, the caramel man taking time out of his usual laidback lifestyle to take on a stone masonry job, building the new fireplace and chimney for the hall. The dark Stormbringer sighed and heaved himself out of bed, stepping into a pair of shorts and checking his pendants and bracelet before scooping the chairs up and exiting the house.
Ciaran had joined him as he moved towards the hall, jumping down from the roof of Niers house to trot alongside the wolf. Nier shot his buddy a smile, Good morning Ciaran, coming to help out at the hall? He asked, the cat purred his affirmative and they walked in companionable silence until they reached the hall. Nier raised his arm and waved at Saul as best he could with an armful of chair, sidling into the structure and placing his handiwork down where it would be out of the way. He smiled to himself as he looked around the hall, the wooden walls ready for the decorations and the roof was looking good after their day of hard work. His eyes were drawn to the stone fireplace and he couldn't help but move over to it, running his handpaw along the smooth stone. A cough behind him made him turn and he saw his brother, standing with his paws on his hips, a playful smile on his muzzle. "Enjoying my work brother?" He asked, Nier grinned back at him, You bet I am. This is brilliant Bran. Didn't know you had it in ya. He moved back towards the doorway, the bright light of day beckoning him, Bran followed behind, tail wagging. Let's see if Saul needs a hand with anything.
