It hit her like a ton of bricks, the overwhelming scent of her first heat. It woke her in the early morning, her scent radiated off of her and she was sure everyone within a mile's radius could smell her. It was so putrid it seamed she was yelling for attention. Sidra rolled out of bed, stood, and looked around absolutely panicked. Surprised Amethyst eyes darted around the room as if she wasn't alone, but she was. It calmed her nerves some but what this scent meant didn't. She wasn't quite sure how to deal with it, she felt like the whole pack was going to flock to her once they took a whiff of the sweat aroma that was seeping through her golden speckled pelt. ....damnit. She cursed as she quickly gathered her things. She needed to get out of here. She didn't want the attention from the whole pack, from all the males she still hadn't learned how to trust. Sidra just wanted to be alone until the heat went away and she could be herself again.

Once her things were packed she left her room and padded down the hallway to Aro's room. She was strangely drawn to the door and to his scent. Sidra walked up to his door and inhaled deeply the scent of her lover. It was potent and sent shivers down her spine. The leopard woman wanted nothing more than to go inside and take him, show him just how womanly she was. The thought lingered for a moment, so very hard to resist knocking at his door and waking her sleeping Knight. Sidra whined and sighed, then left the lower level. She was going to leave, unable to handle all the eyes she knew would be on her. The only eyes she wanted to pay any attention to her, were Aro's stunning blue orbs.

Sidra rushed through Casa di Cavalieri, her eyes watching her back as if there was a murderer after her. Thankfully, everyone was still sleeping and unaware of the blooming young female. Still, she walked fast looking around and felt as though there were so many pairs of invisible eyes on her. She couldn't take it! Her first thing to do was to grab Soloman, she would need him. The horse was anxious as she came to him in the meadow, probably sensing her own anxiety and soaking it up. She hushed him and led him through the pack lands. Shhh, Sully. We'll be home again soon...hopefully. He nudged her as he walked. The loyal horse would stand by her side at all times, he was Sidra's one best friend. The woman became frustrated and growled as she left the borders momentarily looking back at her home before she mounted her steed and rode off into the trees.

There were a few things she needed to do before she could find refuge. One, was a desperate act which didn't work. She tried to wash the scent from her pelt in a nearby stream but as soon as she left it seeped back up through her pores and drenched her pelt once again. There was nothing she could do to rid herself of it. The next thing she needed to do before nightfall was catch herself some food. She wasn't going to be going out much now, knowing she needed to hide herself away if she wished to stay safe from the traffickers. It took her most of the day, but she caught a total of four rabbits. They'd last her days, maybe a week or longer, but she really didn't know how long her heat would last. Once she was satisfied with her days work she headed towards the first place that came to mind. Halifax, where she'd met Adelle. She mounted her steed and took off towards the direction of the broken down city. There, she would be able to find a house to lay in wait.

She reached the town in about an hour. It would have taken longer if she didn't have Soloman. The sun was getting lower in the sky. She needed to find a house before nightfall. Once in the town, she galloped down the street until she found a house that wasn't nearly toppling over due to old age. She jumped off of her maple stallion and rushed inside pacing pack and forth for a few minutes. She didn't want to be out here. She wasn't safe. But, she couldn't handle the attention all the male's would give her now, she didn't want it! Sidra growled viciously before relaxing on an old ouch, leaning her head back and taking a deep breath. Within a few moments, she was asleep. Exhausted by this morning's struggle.
