I tend to shoot for 200+ usually, but don't really care much. I write as much as I need to or want to? I don't think about it.
I don't tend to care how much my partner writes as long as it's interesting or relevant, but do feel somewhat intimidated by anything over 750 words? Usually if it's that long, there's a lot of introspection, which can be okay if I'm familiar with the character, but really boring if I'm not and don't know or care about whatever they're expounding on.
