Jiva was on a mission. He had noticed Palaydrian had been digging holes, mighty fine ones too, it was her denning instinct and he could tell where ever she picked wasn’t good and he had an idea for her. He would find a place for her, or even them if he could not dig well enough. He just wanter her to be comfortable. It took him the whole afternoon but he found the perfect spot to dig. So dig he began. This was perfect because it was a small overhang which was a water blocker when it rained, which was nice. It also faced the den, though it wasn’t exactly within sight, it was close enough to get there in a quick jog. So it was also out of the way but within range in case something happened which he was sure she would want. Even the sun wouldn’t come glaring in, if he dug back further from the overhand, it could be a nice sun block.
He had been keeping his body to what Palaydrian’s was for she was stuck as Optime again, but he knew that he was better off on all fours so he changed for this task and though he only felt slightly mean about it , he knew this was worth the change. It did feel good as his nails dug into the dirt, and he could see why Palaydrian was digging so much now but hopefully this would stop it and prevent anyone from getting hurt in a trap like the ones she’s been leaving all over the place. His tail curled and wagged as he happily moved the dirt between his legs, letting it fly as high as he could, thinking about the puppies he would soon have in another month and felt excited, he had his doubts, he would again after, but he wouldn’t think about that now. The thing on his agenda today was flinging dirt that was not needed in the birthing den of his mate.
