Zalen had expected some kind of retaliation, even just a lift of the lip to expose teeth, but no, as soon as he barreled into Tharin, propelling the gamma back, the male submitted fully, flashing his belly and tucking his tail. It immediately caused Zalen to relent, and instead of attacking the male, he instead did nothing more than to bite down firmly, yet not painfully, only Tharin’s muzzle. He then sniffed at the male and immediately determined that he had been able to stop them before any actually insertion had taken place. Zalen huffed out any aggression that may still be built in his body.
He stood very dominantly as Adonia came over to inspect the situation, she also in a very submissive form. He was not surprised to see her surprised; Tharin was by far the most dominant male in New Dawn beside himself, but he always showed utmost humility towards the Alpha, making this the first and only time he had ever felt threatened by him. But it was obvious this whole situation had been caused by the heat scent, so Zalen felt no hostility or judgment towards the male anymore.
Adonia was then nuzzling up against him, and Zalen’s fur nearly stood on end as he turned to her. Her eyes were apologetic, but he had to teach her a lesson too, so he put a paw over her back and then straddled her, mouthing at the top of her snout as well. She was his female, only his, for the time being, and she had better learn that.
