Mannnn Shi so fake gurll. :|

It had not been a long time, but Shiloh Dawnbringer had already settled into her new home. She’d been a bit concerned about her living situation after months of traveling in the wilderness, but she was absolutely charmed when she first laid eyes on the village of Jordheim. The grassy dome houses were as cozy as they looked, tucked among the hills and other formations of the village, and their squat frames were definitely sturdy enough to hold up against the test of time.

She’d chosen one not far from her brother’s large house, an opportunity presenting itself when she found a vacant one nestled against the trees. One back window opened up to the forest and the birdsong of the morning, and she spent a lot of her time there although her doorway faced her neighbors. Although she knew she was amongst family and amongst those chosen by Saul to stay in Vinátta, she wasn’t certain she wanted to truly meet them yet. Instead, she’d busied herself by furnishing her home in what ways she could: clearing space for a table she would eventually fill with sewing supplies, inspecting the knickknacks and removing those that were ugly, and chasing rodents out of their unwanted nests.

Today was beautiful, though, and since she first threw open the shutters to the woods Shiloh knew it would be a day wasted if she spent it inside. She brushed her hair and fur out, slipping on her pink summer dress, and finally stepped outside with a faint smile on her face. She supposed she could simply walk through Jordheim until she ran into someone; that would be simpler than anything else.

The white she-wolf stepped gingerly through the woods as a shortcut, emerging on one of the well-trod paths that wound through the hills. She sniffed as subtly as she could as she passed the huts of her neighbors, trying to gauge who lived where, and marked quite a few that were empty as she reached the middle of the village.

A familiar scent reached her, and Shiloh paused for a moment. Her brother’s safe and warm, woody odor was prominent, but not as much as if he’d actually been there; she found it instead blended with another personal scent, one touched by the hormones that marked pregnancy. Her blue eyes widened then narrowed, and she took longer (but still controlled) strides until she saw the luperci walking through the village—beautiful and two-toned and swollen with child.

Another wolf might have curled their lip, but Shiloh let hers pull back into an absolutely delighted smile as she quickened her pace. “Good morning,” she called sweetly, stopping and linking her hands together as if uncertain. “I’m sorry for interrupting your walk, but—do you happen to be Lilin?”
