It had been some time since Zalen and her were spending a lot of time together. It seemed his eyes were still on her, but Adonia wasn't sure if that was because there was the chance of her being the mother of his offspring, or maybe, a big maybe...it was something else. Adonia he bravely begun to bring her stuffy into the main cave. She could tell Zalen didn't want her in her other den she made. He seemed more happy with her in the communal den. Adonia for some reason was more inclined to make him happy. She couldn't blame him if he rather her near the main den after what had happened with Titiana. She wanted to prove to him there was nothing to worry about with her. Well..surely the only reason he worried about her was because she could have his puppies.
Adonia was in the meadow her stuffy in jaws, licking it before she laid her head down. She was relaxing herself. Her stomach lately had been feeling sick and she's been very tired. So this was another reason she was relaxing in the meadow. Sleeping more had been her biggest thing. It also kept her mind off her queasy stomach. It had been queasy when even the slightest bit hungry and queasy when she'd finished eating. Adonia was quickly confirming she was indeed carrying puppies within her. It had been over a week since her season had ended, and early at that. So much was changing in her and she found herself becoming easily frustrated with things, and she'd even snapped at Theo the other day, and she'd never done that before. Being so upset at herself she even began to cry. It was stupid of her! What was wrong with her!?
She had wanted puppies, but she always thought she'd be with an actual mate before she had puppies. Oh well, she wasn't getting any younger, and mating with an alpha was close right? He wasn't going to let her go out of his sight while she was with his puppies. Also, surely he'd still be around her when she was feeding and weening them. But then what? After they were born? Would he be okay with her actually finding a mate? Still no one was on her list of possible mates other than Tharin, but now Tharin was definitely not interested in her after what happened fourteen days ago! It was for the best, she was a luperci and she wouldn't want him to change just because of their relationship. Zalen wasn't on that list because she was sure he wasn't even thinking about that, he just wanted puppies.
