She saw it, that thing she could sense. No one wanted her to be with Zalen's puppies. She couldn't blame him though, Titiana wasn't gone for but a month..maybe less. Still she wasn't coming back. From what she gathered the female had lost her mind after loosing her brood. Zalen probably didn't want to put himself through more hurt. It was time to move on, and that was what Zalen was doing. She too was moving on from Ookami. Perhaps it was just natural for her and the alpha to do this. They both wanted offspring, and to get past their own pains. Zalen didn't regret them doing this, did he? She hoped not. As much as she was beginning to with all the negative looks she felt on her. Adonia needed support from somewhere. Her ears went back and she was feeling like she should just keep her mouth shut when others asked. Maybe say, she didn't know. No! That would be wrong! It could get back to Zalen, let alone he might become upset if she denied his offspring. No, they were the alpha's puppies and therefore she needed carry them with pride.
Despite the inner courage talk, her head remained low and ears back, tail low. She felt like she had caused the pack to look down on Zalen, and worst caused the pack to hate her. Shawchert attempted to speak. Her head raised and ears perked. He said 'yoy' and she then fully realized he had no tongue. What was he trying to say? Then she spoke the closest english word that it could be, "Joy?" Was it spoken in sarcasm, or did he mean it. Her eyes studied his body language more trying to figure out how the word was meant.
