Lost in the Ages

Null had been letting her fur dry out in Isabella's home when she had heard the screaming outside. Not really giving it much thought, she had grabbed her cloak and dashed outside with a few short words to Isabella, hurrying through the torrential rains to the screaming, gold-coated male-- another slave, judging by the nose ring. Apparently she was braving storms to help slaves today, but it didn't matter to her. She struggled through the wind and the mud and the rain to the sodden male, gripping his arm when she reached him, partly to keep his attention and partly to hold herself up. She was slightly more practiced at fighting the wind than she had been earlier that day, but it was still strong enough to send her tiny form tumbling if she wasn't careful.

What is it?! She shouted over the storm, not having caught his words while coming to his aid. What do you need?! When the storm had first hit she had intended to hide and wait it out, deciding not to care for anyone else caught out in the tempest. But it appeared that the disaster had brought out a benevolent streak in her that she had not been entirely aware of, but she wouldn't think on it. It wasn't important. Now was no time for introspection and self-discovery, now was a time for helping this damn slave with whatever he had been screaming about. She was fearful, no doubt about it, but she prided herself on keeping a level head in stressful situations-- though that was often easier said than done.
