Bwaaaah you guys have to thread with me forever. >:3

Her first priority had been Draugr—but her daughter had been busy and level-headed even if she was fearful, and Siv entrusted her to withstand. They were made for this weather. She cast a grim look skyward and then threw the cloak over her head. Hurried steps carried her to where the slaves lived, and she was glad to see they had the sense to take cover. After instructing them not to leave the area, firmly and with a sharp edge that barely hid her own trepidation, another voice rose over the blustering winds.

Cursing, Siv threw her hood up and stalked into the weather. She was blasted with cold wind and rain and hunched her shoulders. There was no mistaking the golden pelt, sodden as it was, and she quickened herself to near him. Another figure cut her off and had the audacity to touch her property, but Siv wasn’t thinking of such things. She towered over the tiny girl and thought her a child, so small was her frame. Purple eyes cut to Gale sharply, and for all her steel and fury, there was true concern in them.

“There!” She pointed, and pulled Gale (and by doing so, the girl) along with her until they were half out of the howling wind and in the lee of the stone wall. It did not do much to shield them from the rain coming down, but the wind was somewhat dulled. “Where did you leave her?” Siv cried, digging her nails almost painfully into the man’s flesh. It would focus him—she knew such a thing from her days in the Hearg. Men were simple. They needed things to keep their minds from racing.
