Lost in the Ages

((Derp post is derp DX))

Null nodded in response to the dark woman's order, partly in submission and partly in recognition that she would probably never find a pup she didn't know on her own. The slave's pelt colour was distinctive, and would be easy to spot-- if it weren't darkened by rain, and if there were more light to see by. As it was, it was only really noticeable up close. Null could only hope that the pup had the sense to take cover in the damaged barn, and the sense to howl for help so that they might have something to find her by.

The small wolf hunched down as she followed the two larger canines into the wind, making herself slightly less easy to push over. She was grateful of the barrier that the golden slave created, and she would thank him if this were any other occasion. As it was, there were more important things at hand. The thought of the poor girl being sucked down into the bog made her insides turn to ice with dread. It would be all too easy for a child to be lost forever to the mud in this storm, and Null silently prayed to deities she didn't believe in to keep the child safe.

Null didn't know the area well enough to offer ideas, so she once again stayed silent as she awaited instructions. She would offer up words if ever the time came that she had something useful to say, but for now she simply listened for commands spoken above the wind. She did think that splitting up was a good idea, but there was no point in reiterating what had already been said. She simply braced herself against the wind, preparing to head out into the storm to search for the lost pup.
