whee hurricane

He locked his back hard against the wood and heaved with all his might. Fear propelled him, fear for his hives and his bees which would surely be killed by the incoming storm. Pain shot through his backs and legs as he shoved and pushed against the great hives. His bees, his pride and joys buzzed around him confusedly and he spoke to them in a calm hushed tone, telling them not to worry. He knew they did not have the reasoning and brain of a wolf to understand him but they were in tune with nature enough to know that something was wrong.

He stopped and panted harshly. Around him the storm was raging more and mroe, out of all control and his golden eyes showed his terror. Again he braced himself against the wood and pushed, screaming his frustration into the wood as it still refused to move. Desolation began to fill him. The hives he had worked on for most of the summer the keep alive and to foster would be destroyed. But still the Denahlii boy did not give up, desperate to save his beloved bees even against seemingly impossible odds and their reluctance to move. Again he forced himself against the wood, his claws digging into the ground and churning up the mud. His thich white pelt was splattered with it.
