Teme Lupus is by Alaine!

The upset caused by Ink's leaving would have to be pushed from his mind for now. There was work to be done and it certainly needed to be completed swiftly. The wind tugging at his body, wrenching his hair around his face, pushing him back from the stout building were beginning to strengthen, if only slightly. He could feel it, the sting to his eyes when he looked up to hold a board steady for Oak to hammer into place. Niernan and Bran, having arrived not long ago, worked well as a pair together and in otherwise silence aside from the occasional command or check between the quartet they managed to get things into a calmer state of affairs. The windows were boarded shut by the time they stepped back and Oak asked perhaps a fatal question.

Poking his head around the door, Temeraire began to scan the familiar faces. He wasn't aware of all their names, but their faces were familiar. Lulled into a false sense of security by the apparent calmness of the equine's in their stalls, Temeraire was about to leave when the absence of a voice alerted him to a missing creature. Darting back inside, he checked the donkey's stall before concluding that he was in fact not present. Giving a bark of frustration the boy exited the stables and moved towards the trio. The donkey's not in there... he's known to be stubborn and is usually left to come into the stables when he wants to. He explained, knowing that the male wouldn't be made to bed down if he didn't want to.

Having seen no sign of the donkey on their way to and from the barn was a worrying sign, but that didn't mean the creature hadn't headed for the trees for a little more shelter. Quickly relaying his thoughts, Temeraire took off to check the outskirts of the forest close to the lake and stables. Searching was difficult when rain lashed at ones eyes and his own hair slashed across his face in dripping strands. But the dusky grey of the donkey was spotted and Temeraire gave a sharp bark that the others might hopefully hear. Returning the donkey to the stables might be troublesome, but he looked pitiful enough huddled under a mostly-stripped tree anyway so they at least had to try.
