After the passing of the storm, Kenna, along with her other pack mates went out to investigate the destruction left behind. There was debris everywhere and many of the pack's buildings had sustained structural damage. As she slowly picked her way through the fallen branches, scattered stones, slats of wood and other clutter left in the hurricane's wake, the worried frown upon the young woman's face continued to deepen. There was a lot of work to be done. Heading towards the stables, she could see once within view of it that it too had suffered some abuse in the storm. While the structure still stood, it had a blatant hole in one of its walls and some of the livestock was missing or could be seen scattered about the vicinity, enjoying their new found freedom. On the good side, it looked as if the part of the stables that contained the horses was intact however.

Just then, she paused mid step. Horses! Kenna's ears suddenly perked alertly. Dust. She'd set him free before seeking shelter, she didn't know where he'd gone off to, but she'd need to find him. She hoped he was alright and had managed to handle the ferocity of the storm. She had to have confidence though right now in her companion, she had to keep positive. He was surely safely sheltered away somewhere. For now, she needed to focus on the pack and repairing the buildings and rounding up the livestock. Taking a steadying breath, the hybrid girl removed her hat and padded up behind Skye who stood reviewing the state of the stables next to another wolfess Kenna didn't know by name yet. She stepped up beside the leader in time to catch the end of her sentence. "--we should wait until some more people show up.. we'll need all the help we can get." Nodding in acknowledgement to the unknown pack mate, Kenna then spoke up. "Might I be of some assistance, miss Skye?" Kenna fiddled with the rim of her hat within her paws, looking upon the alphess with true concern and willingness to help. Since joining the ranks, she had done very little to get to know her fellow d'Artisans and prove her worth to the pack. She wanted to do anything she could to amend her lapse of productivity and what better way to do so than to assist in the clean up of the pack lands. Glancing around she gave a long slow sigh, placing her paws at her hips observing the mess around her. "Looks like we've got a lot of work to do..." She noted, already formulating a small plan of action. Turning back to Skye she offered a suggestion. "When we've got more able bodies over here, might I suggest rounding up the loose animals and confining them in a couple of the empty horse stalls before they can wander too far while a couple of us repair the hen coop and the sheep's pen?" She suggested before glancing down and suddenly lunging forward to scoop up a chicken casually strutting by in front of them. The hen fluttered and struggled in her arms a moment but then settled, clucking softly, content to simply remain tucked against Kenna's side. The collie girl gave a soft chuckle and a good natured smile. "One down..."
