He knew he would die. That one day his soul would part from it's mortal cage to the world beyond, but such a thought did not frighten him. Nothing frightened him any longer. For death was the most primal of fears, ingrained into those who knew their time would come, but to die did not mean the end to Samael. He was a demon born from hell, simply borrowing a form of flesh and bone to inflict destruction on this world. That was his mission, his goal, and his destiny, pure and simple. No, to die just meant returning from whence he'd come, to go back home with the devils and hellfire, and so such a thought meant nothing to the boy.

He knew blood, death, and pain -- craved it and lusted for it. Poison flowed through his veins, leaving him mad as his mind frayed slowly at the seams. The madness was prevalent in his eyes, a wildness that held only hatred and the sadistic desires he'd like to inflict on others. Samael loved no one. No one save Kaena. He was hollowed inside, unable to feel anything but the pain as claws ripped through his flesh. A breath exhaled sharply between his teeth, eyes half-lidded as Hybrid sunk his nails into his arm.

His arm drew back, slashing him a deep mark across his chest that oozed and dripped with dark crimson. Veiled behind a sheet of dark, matted hair, a dull, hoarse laugh broke from his lips. "Oh, but don't be," he said, voice drunk with the feel of his own blood on his skin. His grin widened, muzzle lifting toward the other from behind his hair, leaning toward him as he spoke. "After all, a whore desires anyone, does he not?" he breathed, lips close to the other's face. "I wonder how you'd look all covered in blood?" he inquired lightly, hand suddenly lifting as he swiftly dragged his claws down Hybrid's chest, hard enough to draw blood to the surface.
