{private}ly wandering

I'll leave this open so Andre can wander in and laugh at Shadow before running off o:

It was a beautiful, wonderful thing to watch. Hybrid had picked a spot near the child to watch him as he died. He was just close enough that he could see what he did without being so close as to put himself in danger. A dying creature was the most dangerous of all, and although the child looked like it could do no more harm, there was always the possibility. The possibility of death tended to bring out predator's sharpest teeth, aiming sometimes to kill and bring another down with them.

Hybrid chuckled as the boy struggled, humming quietly as he did. He did not respond when the boy cried out, choosing not to waste his breath. The wolf was not worth it. He did not even deserve an honourable death, but was one who deserved to die. Hybrid yawned and stood up, leaving the wolf to whimper on his own. He left the boy with the knowledge that even his prosecutor did not care enough about him to see through his death. He had been left to die.
