ooc: Sorry... back.

Moose saw his smile returned by the female and watched as she took a spot eating the still warm flesh. Her body told him he would be allowed to join her, and again the feelings of acceptance caused his heart to soar. Glancing to the sky in a wordless prayer, he thanked the heavens and Sirce for the meal and for his good fortune to be here. 'Tis amazin'. Ah'm 'ome again.

Once his thanks had been given, he took a place next to Anu. The meat was fresh (of course) and sweet. The fallen prey had been in good foraging within the last few days of her life, and it was noticable in his bites. He tore strips of meat from the carcass, wolfing it down as only a wolf can.

In the distance, he could hear the sound of other animals, birds included. The carion birds would come soon, and depending on their ferocsity, the pair of wolves would have trouble keeping them from getting their piece of the spoils. Moose assumed the remainder of the meat would be brought to the pack, or the pack to it. The deer wasn't too large, and since he figure that Anu, like the majority of Crimson Dreams, could shift, she would have no trouble maneuvering it to them.

This was one of the times Moose was finding himself very uncomfortable around the shifting wolves. He felt as though he was unable to contribute as much as they could. Either they had gifts in more prehensitled ways, or they were simply stronger than he could dream of due to their abilities. A small sigh escaped his maw at these thoughts, but he did his best attempt to make it seem as a sigh of contentment lest he seem ungrateful for the pack's hospiltality.
