His project was going smoothly so far. The room had been cleared easily enough and he had transferred all of his tools from his room without dropping a hammer on his foot or anything. He was nearly done hammering the first shelf into place, and as far as he could tell it didn’t seem crooked. All that was left was to finish hammering in the support on the right side, and he would be good to move onto the next one. He was nearly finished when he noticed someone join him in the room.

It wasn’t surprising that someone would come to investigate the racket he was making, but he was glad to see that his sister was the first to pop in. With one last pound on the final nail, Ehno finished his work on the small shelf and turned toward his sister. He grinned at her words, placing the hammer in one of the empty pockets of his belt. “Oh, lei mi sa. Entro sempre sopra la mia testa,” he joked. This was the biggest project he had taken on so far, but he hoped it wouldn’t turn out to be too much for him. He seemed to be doing well enough so far.

Savina’s next words grabbed a hold of his attention quickly. Her expression matched the cheer in her words and Ehno found himself already quite excited to hear what this news could be. “Con quel sorriso di vostro, posso presumere solo che sia di molto buona notizie.” He felt an excited smile crawl onto his features as he spoke. The Marino boy stepped out of the way of his new shelf and a little closer to his sister. He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed comfortably over his chest, attention now fully fixed on Savina. “Lo sentiamo.” What could have gotten her so excited?
