| Out of Character Woot. XD Word Count: 315 In Character She knew the path well by now. Many nights the black female had followed this same trail from Dahlia to the doorstep of Inferni, the scout looking for any possible clue as to the whereabouts of the pack's missing children. Like shadows, the two secui wolves moved through the darkness, the Circee's ears twitching to catch any sound that told of impending threat. Though they were in neutral lands for the moment, the air was alive with tension. Kol spared her leader a glance when he looked down at her, her violet eyes shining against her charcoal fur. Her thoughts were along the same track as the male's, though neither one knew it. In all of her excursions, she'd found not a single drop of evidence pointing to Inferni as the culprits behind the boys' disappearance. In fact, she'd been the first one on the scene after the supposed abduction, and there was no trace of anyone's scent but those who belonged there. The strongest were Haku, Firefly, and the boys themselves, followed by the fainter traces of Alexey and a few others. Not a single scent was out of the norm, which in and of itself did not feel right. The kidnapping had to have been an inside job, there was no other explanation. The Stormbringer's musings were broken as the pair reached the borders of the hybrid clan. As Haku called clearly to the male known as Gabriel, Kol pulled her haunches beneath her, taking her own seat at the Lilium's right side. The white splash on her chest and her vivid amethyst eyes were the only break in the darkness she melted into by his side, the night their constant companion and ally through all the turmoil. Patiently, Kol waited for the arrival of the one who'd been called, her chest rising and falling softly against the whisper of the night wind. Table by Fishie! |
