| Out of Character -- In Character Kol watched with cold eyes as the leaders conversed. She was there as backup, not counsel, unless she felt she had something of worth to add to the negotiation. There was no doubt this would not go smoothly, and frankly she was impressed with the Lilium for even giving it a shot for Cercelee's sake. There were many, including her immediate family, who would have simply barged into Inferni to find the culprit and asked questions later. However, in Kol's mind, Haku was doing the proper thing for the sake of the truce and attempting to talk first. Starting the conflict between the hybrid clan and Dahlia once again would be devistating for either side at this point. Dahlia had small pups amongst its numbers now, and the pack's primary focus was in making sure they survived and learned to be the future of Dahlia. Kol would honestly be surprised if Inferni were not in a similar situation, and if they did not view their own progeny in the same manner. Talking things through first would be best for both sides. It would only be a matter of moments to see if the peaceful visit would all be in vain. Table by Fishie! |
