omg they confuse me, in a good way :]

Had he said something funny? Heath looked in surprise as he watched the nameless beast tumbling into a hit of laughter, if you would call it laughter. To the younger male’s ears it held that ragged voice in a tight fist, and was dragged from his throat with force. It was impossible for Heath to keep his face strait as he watched the old man loose his balance. That was what he was, an old man. As Heath thought more and more on the idea he became less intimidated. Maybe he was no more then a grump that needed to be warmed up. Maybe all Heath needed to do was warm him up and get on his good side. It was no longer about finding an exit, but about finding out who this man was and as much detail as he could get. He wanted scares like that, he wanted that intimidation and on his own handsome face he would look like a true rogue instead of the battered rat that he saw in the mangled coyote. I can be intimidating. He said in jest, hoping to keep the joke that the other found in his question. A smile came to his face and he wondered if maybe there would be a change in his demeanor.
