Private for Svara. Whisper Beach - I figured it was close enough to DDM for the Blind Bat to visit Smile

Geneva wrinkled her nose in distaste as the rain continued to splatter the roof of her makeshift hideout. She snuffled a bit, shifting uncomfortably in her luperci form to lie on her stomach. Phoenix Valley had held no comfort for her the last few days. Both embarrassment and discomfort kept her from holding up her duties. She had been newly promoted, nodding wordlessly when Jefferson delivered the news to her in passing. He had seemed distant and passive as usual, and she hadn't had the heart to muster up much conversation lately. There was a lot on her mind lately.

Her run in with the slavering giant had shaken her to her core. She had been injured, and still smelled faintly of spilled blood. Although the wounds hadn't been life threatening, the pain had been intense. The lime eyed wolfess shifted again, experimentally stretching her arms out. She winced as her wounds, scabbing over now, gave twinges of protest. She sighed and looked out at the roiling water, glad that she had been able to erect a makeshift cover from drift wood. She was surprisingly dry and comfortable. The wood had all been stacked up very neatly, she had only had to nudge it a bit to fix it up just right. Which was good, because she wasn't able to do very much at the moment.

She reached into her bag and uncovered a good sized bottle. She looked at it considering the first time she had partook of alcohol. It hadn't led to anything particularly good...or so she had thought. But now she felt the need to cut loose and let her hair down. Blinking once, she tipped the bottle back and let the liquid slide in cool lines down her throat.
