nowhere to go

Oceane couldn't understand just what in the world was wrong with her sister. She was afraid of things but she'd never done anything like this. She gave a gruff sigh as she tried to grab ahold of Noir's ruff and attempt to drag her over the modge-podge sticks and limbs in the dam. She didn't get far and she sat there panting. Her sister was just too large to budge and she whined. "Noir, get up.. you're too big to carry.." She pawed at the side of her sister's face as she realized that she couldn't do anything to help her sibling.

The sobs that broke from her sister made her regret taunting her sibling and making her go out on the dam after her. She sat there with her little ears drooping as she tried to figure just what to do but nothing came to her mind until Noir moaned. She didn't want to get mommy, she would be in so much trouble if she did, but she knew that there was no other way to get Noir off the bridge she'd so happily began to cross all alone just moments before. Finally Oceane sadly admitted her defeat and whispered. "Ok Noir.. I'll get mommy.." Boy was she going to get it now.

Little Oceane threw back her head and let out a mighty (little) howl for their mother. The mixed emotions so noticeable in her voice as she let the world know they were in trouble. She just really hoped that she wouldn't be in as much trouble as she could imagine.
