This is the thread for the seasonal game set. Please read the part in the game lore about the spring ceremony. Dawali will have informed the members of the tribe about this, and the custom with dressing up. Also - keep in mind that none but Dawali and Ayegali has ever seen the ritual beforehand, thus it's not likely that any of the other members will know what is going to happen!

If you missed the first round of posts, or has been skipped, jump in (again) at any given time! Please try to follow the posting order as it comes along though Smile If the previous member hasn't posted in 4 days, skip their turn.

Edit: If in doubt - it is evening!

The ceremonial fire crackled and lit up the ground around it, its larger components reaching nearly five or six feet in the air - it was a massive source of light. Perhaps a yard or two from the flames' edge Dawali had created a stone pavement of sorts, a square ground made flat with smoothed rock - to serve as the ceremonial meeting ground. It had taken him a long time to create this, which was part of the reason why the ceremony was late as well. The widowed male didn't have much else to do though, unless Leland or Ember stopped by. Tayui was busy with her four children, and he did not expect her to have time to visit her old sub-leader. In fact, he saw it as his duty to visit her. Now that Asha had proclaimed that she would go back to search for the others - Aiyanna among them, he definitely did not have that much to occupy his time with. So, he'd begun building the townhouse - or rather collecting materials for it - and had made this paved area. It looked nice, and it would serve its purpose this time. Around the large square area stood torches, supported by sturdy, but small sticks tied together by rope. The torches were lifted sufficiently high up in the air, so the constructions would not take fire as it continued to burn. All in all, it was clear to anyone who came to the ceremony, that this was the place where things would happen - but also that it was no place to be the whole thing through. It was for certain parts of the ceremony only, namely the dancing. Everything before that would happen by the ceremonial fire, and thus this is where Dawali stood to greet them all.

Curiously waiting, eager to see who would come, Dawali pulled at his vest-like chest piece for the second time, straightening it. It was made from leather, nicely smooth and soft leather, with crude but decorative stitches making sure it stayed together. It matched his trousers, and together with the feather ornament which he had wrapped around his large braids from the neck and down, it made up his "good" suit. Mischka had made it - and it was for such occasions as this one. Gvihita sat on his shoulder, invisible to all but himself, and eagerly eyed the laid out leather cover at his side, with large chunks of prepared meat resting on it. On top of the heap lay a single package, wrapped in thin, fine leather. A strange smell emitted from it, and those who had never smelled or tasted this before would have something special ahead of them. The two ingredients in the little wrapped package had a special role to play in the ceremony, as they would all find out when they got here.
